Written by Kate Hamill

Directed by Rose Callaghan

Rose Callaghan's directorial debut on Atlantic's Off Broadway Stage 2.

I think – sometimes – we want so badly – we don’t see what we – we have.

Once upon a time there was a family. A mother, a father and four girls. Meg March dreams of being mistress of the house. Jo March yearns to be a famous writer. Amy March wants to marry a prince. Beth March knows what’s best for all of them. As the nation is torn apart by civil war, the sister struggle with what it means to grow up. Restrictive gender roles, political beliefs, poverty, and even love itself threaten to break family ties. How do you stay true to yourself when the world wants you to become a perfect little woman?

Little Women Sound Design

Core to my vision was creating an original sound track to accompany this inspiring script. So, working with the talented sound design team on this show, James Overton, Charlie Lockwood, and Rachel Collignon composed original resonant motifs for each of the sisters and for Laurie. Look below for snippets of their wonderful work.
